About

Soccology is a non-profit organisation that uses the universal passion for football to deliver mental health support, psychological education, and life-changing opportunities for young people.

We work with individuals from underrepresented and underserved communities—especially those facing social, emotional, or economic challenges—to build resilience, boost self-worth, and unlock potential through the power of sport and structured development.

Whether on the pitch, in the classroom, or in conversation, we help young people transform passion into purpose.

Soccology was founded by Kevin George, a former professional footballer turned psychotherapist, who experienced first-hand the emotional challenges young people face—both in and outside the world of sport.

While working across schools, prisons, professional clubs, and businesses, Kevin saw a pattern: most mental health support was reactive, delivered too late and without enough relevance to young people's lives. He created Soccology to do things differently.

Bringing together a team of clinical therapists and former professional athletes, Soccology launched with a clear goal: to embed preventative, emotionally intelligent support within the structures young people already care about—like football. Since its founding, Soccology has grown into a trusted voice in the field, reaching thousands of young people across schools, communities and professional football clubs.

Where football meets mental health—and both get stronger. What sets Soccology apart is our fusion of elite football experience with clinical mental health expertise.

We don't just offer mentoring or sport—we deliver psychological development through a language young people already understand and love. Our team isn’t just qualified—they’re relatable, with real stories, lived experiences, and professional credibility.

Soccology isn’t about fixing broken people. It’s about building strong futures by creating environments where mental health is protected, potential is nurtured, and young people believe in what's possible.
